About Of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB)
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) was established in 1999 by the Government of Punjab as an independent framework under the Department of Industry from 2001-2001 under the management of the Information Technology Department. The key awareness of the branch turned to showcasing international opportunities, fulfilling the evolving aspirations of IT, increasing coverage projects, planning and implementing projects and making the project a reality. Enterprise competitiveness can be enhanced. The Information Technology Branch was dissolved in 2011, and the PITB merged with the Punjab Planning and Development Department.
PITB works as the music of innovative financial system in Punjab with the aim of modernizing governance strategy by implementing transparency in the implementation of governance strategies. In addition, PITB specializes in enhancing the virtual literacy of the citizens of the province.
